Synopsis: This practical-based subject covers basic principles of immunological techniques involving the use of antibody-based reagents. Students will gain practical experience in antibody generation, purification and modifications to produce reagents for research and diagnostic use. Applications will include flow cytometry, immunohistology, immunodiffusion and immunoassays.

Assessment: Practical examination: 50% + Practical class reports: 50%
