Synopsis: This subject will consider the theories of Donald Winnicott and Melanie Klein and their relevance to understanding the psycho- logical development of children and adolescents in terms of both healthy development and the development of psychopathology. The subject will also examine the relevance of these theories to working therapeutically with children and adolescents.
