Synopsis: CHM3071 is made up from two units from the CHM3031 group along with a proportional amount of laboratory work. A six-point chemistry subject would not be sufficient for entry into the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, nor would it be sufficient for normal selection into chemistry honours. Assessment: Examinations (2 hours maximum; some units assessed by assignment or a combination of assignment, computer tests and examination): up to 70% depending on units chosen + Laboratory work: 30%
