Synopsis: An introduction to the principles and general use of computer information systems for business applications. Topics include introduction to information systems, computer hardware and software, overview of programming and computer languages, database management, use of microcomputer application software for business data processing including spreadsheets and database management systems.

Assessment: Assignments: 40% + Examination (2 hours): 60% + Students must pass the examination in order to pass the subject
