Synopsis: This subject is a non-trivial hands-on introduction to the SAP R/3 Enterprise Wide System. An introduction to the functionality and operation of the system, including the Implementation Guide (IMG) Procedure and Reference Models, is followed by an in-depth look at a typical R/3 module. The module is examined from an operational (user) and configuration (developer) perspective. The core Fi/Co modules are then examined from these perspectives. Finally, the ABAP language is introduced and techniques for writing report programs are discussed and practised.

Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 70% + Three assignments (10% each): 30% + Students must pass the examination in order to pass the subject.
