Synopsis: Current Australian industrial relations law, contracts of employment, common law provisions governing the employer-employee relationship in contracts of employment, recruitment law, equal opportunity and anti-discrimination law, sexual harassment terminations, unfair dismissals, employer-employee duties of care, health and safety in the work environment, vicarious liability and industrial action.

Assessment: Written (essay): 30% + Examination: 70%
