Synopsis: Introduction to contract law in Australia, offer and acceptance, intention to be legally bound, consideration, terms, capacity of parties, problems of consent, legality of object, principal and agent, frustration, termination of contract, Goods Act 1958 (Vic.), consumer protection and an introduction to the rights and remedies of consumers under the Trade Practices Act 1974.

Assessment: Assignment: 30% + Examination: 70%
