Synopsis: Processes operating in business at the supraorganisational level. Strategies to implement effective global business practice utilising electronic commerce. Other issues include the role of value adding; internal integration; industry sector structures, processes and the value chain; inter and multi-organisational systems; extra-organisational systems, including EFTPOS, home banking and shopping and electronic service delivery via public kiosks.

Assessment: Assignment 1 (2000 words): 20% + Assignment 2 (research report - 2500 words): 30% + Examination (3 hours) 50%
