Atmospheric science honours

48 points + Full-year + Clayton + Prerequisites: average of distinction grade in 24 points of third-year atmospheric science, or 24 points of third-year mathematics (of which at least 12 points qualify as atmospheric science) or 24 points of third-year geography and environmental science (of which at least 12 points qualify as atmospheric science)

Synopsis: A combination of an honours project, meteorological charts discussions, field experiments, reading material and focused lectures on advanced topics in climatology, meteorology and environmental issues. Typically a student will undertake four advanced units and a reading unit in addition to the honours project.

Assessment: Lecture units, reading unit and seminars: 50% + Major project: 50%
