2-hour seminar on alternate weeks, plus on average 1-hour weekly meeting with supervisor + First, second semesters + Caulfield + Prerequisites: APY4030 recommended

Synopsis: Issues covered in the seminar program include how to identify a research area and a particular problem or question; ethical issues in research; use of library and other resources for research purposes; preparing and presenting research proposals. Specific methodological, research design and data analysis issues are discussed in individual consultations with the student0s supervisor.
