Synopsis: This course is studio based and explores the specific processes involved with fabricating objects incorporating anodised aluminium. By controlling the oxide build up on the surface of treated aluminium dyes to be absorbed. This colouring process offers a variety of design possibilities to metal artists and designers. This process-specific subject provides the student with the opportunity to extend their technological and conceptual understanding.
