Synopsis: Historical and contemporary uses of engraved glass. Application of contemporary design using the diamond-point engraving method. The fortnightly seminar includes formal lectures on history and technique as well as debate on broad design issues. Studio sessions focus on the techniques associated with glass engraving and the development towards sensitive design interpretation.
Assessment: Assigned projects: 60% + Research project: 40%
