Synopsis: The provision and use of management accounting information for management planning and control in organisations especially the relationship of management accounting to the strategic issues faced by contemporary organisations. Quantitative and behavioural aspects. Cost control through learning curves, mathematical modelling and decision models.

Assessment: Written (computer assignment): 10% + Group presentation: 10% + Tutorial participation: 10% + Examination (3 hours): 70%
