Student societies

Monash Radiography Society, although still in its early stages of development, aims to generally foster the interests and wellbeing of all students within the Unit of Radiography and Medical Imaging. It intends to promote their views with regards to the curriculum, to provide opportunity to interact academically with the profession and to cater for the students' needs.
Each year a committee will be elected by the members. It will consist of a president, vice-president, treasurer and secretary who will assist in the running of the society.
Throughout each year, the society will organise a series of events to give students in all years an opportunity to interact. As well as regular social events, the committee hopes to give the students a chance to academically assist each other and welcome new students into the course.
Affiliation with the Victorian Branch of the Australian Institute of Radiography is being pursued.
