Synopsis This subject aims to provide students with current information on food security and nutritional issues in developing countries, emphasising causal factors and field programs addressing famine and under nutrition.
Assessment Each student will develop a project design document that will address a specific nutritional deficiency prevalent in developing countries. Assessment will be based on an oral presentation of the project as well as a written project design document (15 to 20 pages).
