Theory of group psychotherapy applied to specialised groups

15 seminars of 1.25 hours

Objectives On completion of this subject students will have a clear understanding of the application of group psychotherapy principles to all of the above topics and the special techniques involved.

Synopsis Topics to be covered include combined individual and group psychotherapy; group psychotherapy in a therapeutic community; small, large and median groups; group psychotherapy for infants and mothers; psychodrama; co-therapy in groups; group analytic approach to the family; and self-help groups.
