Synopsis Application case studies including consideration of financial and social issues. Economic analyses of installations, safety issues (the Australian Standard), processes suited to robotics applications, system approach to robotics in manufacturing. Flexible manufacturing systems, group technology, research and development trends in robotics, artificial intelligence and robotics.
Assessment Examinations (2 hours): 70% - Written assignments: 30%
