Objectives At the completion of this subject students should understand the general concepts of multimedia computing; appreciate the scope of its applicability in the business environment; have acquired an acceptable level of proficiency in the use of state-of-the-art tools and techniques for the creation of multimedia computing applications in business; and be aware of the future directions in multimedia computing and Internet technology. Students will have access to professional tools for multimedia application development throughout the subject.
Synopsis This subject is to provide students with foundation knowledge and hands-on experience of multimedia computing and Internet technology which they can build upon and develop further in their careers.
Assessment Assignment: 10% - Group assignment: 30% - Examination (2 hours): 60% - Students must pass the examination in order to pass the subject
