Objectives As a result of this project, students should have applied their theoretical knowledge of engineering to developing a design or solving a suitable problem. In doing this they should have developed essential planning and project management skills, as well as professional written and oral communication skills.

Synopsis The students will undertake to design and develop a new product or solve a worthwhile industrial problem or undertake an appropriate research project.

Assessment Only interim assessment will be carried out in semester 1 - major assessment will be deferred until ENC4442.
