Financial management and management accounting issues in the not-for-profit sector

The focus of this subject is on the tools of financial analysis and managerial control as they apply to the not-for-profit sector -- ie measuring the effectiveness of the NFP organisation and improving upon it. The three key components of the subject are: functional areas of financial management (budgeting, accounting and fund-raising), financial management -- such as compulsory competitive tendering, contracts and performance measurements -- are covered.
