Tourism -- social environment

This subject provides students with an appreciation of the scope, nature and community environment of the tourism industry and an understanding of the structure and processes of tourism development and the role of public and private sector providers. It also examines the factors relevant to an evaluation of the overall community benefits of tourism projects and provides an understanding of the major planning, policy and management issues in the industry.
