Molecular modelling

On completion of this subject, students will have a broad comprehension of the methods and applications of molecular modelling. They will be able to build molecules using standard data from database searches, optimise and manipulate the structure with use of readily available modelling software and be able to comprehend the full 3D nature of molecules and their interactions. The overall objective will be to demonstrate the power of computer-aided modelling.
