News feature writing.

In News feature writing students will produce feature length news and current affairs articles. The subject places feature writing within political, social and cultural contexts. It will extend the process begun in GSC1902 to address students' professional requirements by providing skills in writing news features for print. The subject introduces students to strategies and techniques for using computers for layout and design and explores the impact technological change in Journalism has had on feature writing.
