General information

The certificates

Executive certificates are awarded by the faculty and give students who prove their academic merit an opportunity to enter university accredited graduate courses offered by the faculty. They have been introduced to meet the needs of the marketplace for quality business education for senior executives without a first degree who have significant relevant employment experience.

Admission requirements

An applicant for admission to candidature for an executive certificate must:

Credit for work done previously

Candidates for executive certificates may be eligible for credit exemptions for subjects, considered by the course director, to be equivalent to particular subjects in the course of study. Further details are provided in the individual course entries.

Progression to further studies

Students who complete an executive certificate with an average grade of credit or above are eligible to apply for admission to a range of graduate diplomas offered by the faculty. Students may apply for credit exemptions up to a maximum of four subjects towards the relevant graduate diploma depending upon the subjects that have been studied in the executive certificate. Students who successfully complete the graduate diploma with an average grade of credit or above may be eligible to continue their studies in a relevant masters by coursework degree.

Fees

All executive certificates are offered on a fee-paying basis and subject fees vary depending upon the campus at which the course is undertaken. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
