The following should be read in conjunction with the statement on the Bachelor of Commerce and the Bachelor of Science in the Science handbook.
The double degree course of Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science requires a minimum of four years full-time study, or five years for a degree with honours, or the equivalent in part-time study. Admission to this double degree is based on a combination of the entry requirements for the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science degrees. Students must complete subjects to a minimum value of 200 credit points over the length of the course of which 108 points should come from subjects offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics (Clayton) and ninety-two points should come from subjects offered in the Bachelor of Science.
There is a substantial degree of flexibility in the course structure, with only ECC1000, ECC1010, ETC1020, ETC1031, AFC1021/AFC1022, AFC1031/AFC1032, MGC1020 and MGC1030 (forty-eight credit points) being compulsory. Students can choose the mix of commerce and science subjects taken in each year of study provided at least twelve points of both commerce and science are taken in the first year of enrolment. Professional accreditation

This degree is recognised by all professional bodies that recognise either the Bachelor of Commerce or the Bachelor of Science as meeting academic requirements for membership. For all professional bodies membership is dependent upon the correct choice of subjects by students.
