Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to understand an organisation's financial information and to be able to analyse the implications of this data for the management of people in organisation.
Synopsis The subject analyses the nature of the accounting function and management information systems within an organisation. It will enable students to interpret publicly available financial information and to identify and assess the nature and impact of the accounting function upon the conduct of an organisation and its relationship to industrial relations within that organisation.
Assessment Written (assignments 4000 words): 40% · Take-home examination: 60%
