Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the internationalisation process and its implications for managers in international and internationalising organisations; apply a strategic management process to internationalising an organisation; and, analyse the relationship between organisational functions and the internationalisation process.

Synopsis This subject aims to provide students with an understanding of the management implications of major internationalisation theories; and, the planning requirements in going international and management issues that arise in an international setting.

Assessment Individual assignment (3000 words): 30% · Group assignement (4000 words): 40% · Presentation: 10% · Examination (2 hours): 20%
