Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to appreciate overseas countries' economic and cultural situations prior to departure; show a development of thinking in different types of organisations; identify and report on the 'world best practice' management technologies and practices of international companies.
Synopsis This optional subject is designed to enable students to build on the balance of their course, through observing, at first hand, the 'world best practice' management technologies and practices implemented by leading companies internationally. The experiential learning gained through the tour will be of particular benefit to the student seeking to contribute to the enhancement of operations management practices by the student's employer.
