Objectives On completion of this subject students should have a general understanding of the international business environment; be able to recognise the different types of international business operations and have developed skills in evaluating the risks and constraints in specific environments; have developed the ability to identify the social and ethical issues in international business; have an understanding of the complex issues in international human resource management.
Synopsis This subject examines the environment of international business, investment and trade; management in international business operations; and provides an overview of strategic, operational and human resource management issues in international business.
Assessment Written assignments and tutorial presentations: 50% · Examination (2 hours): 50%
