Objectives On completion of this course students should be able to apply appropriate analytical tools in the context of the microeconomic conceptual framework to manage the portfolio, investment and strategy selection decisions which face the firm.

Synopsis An overview of corporate economics; demand and supply analysis; analysis of market structure; budget decisions; strategic planning.

Assessment Case study (1500 words): 20% · Major essay (3000 words): 20% · Examination (2 hours): 60%
