Objectives On successful completion of this subject students should be able to understand the structure, functions and operations of corporations; recognise the laws which apply to corporations; identify the structure and operations of trusts.

Synopsis Law relating to the structure, functions and operations of corporations and trusts; the characteristics of a company and the concept of limited liability; the effect of incorporation; the corporate constitution; the company's relationship with outsiders.

Assessment Assignment (2000 words): 20% · Examination (open-book 3 hours): 80%
