Objectives On completion of this subject students will be required to demonstrate an understanding of financing techniques; structure of international financial markets; how foreign exchange markets operate; techniques and statistics; characteristics of international banking; and have familiarity with contemporary issues in international banking and finance.

Synopsis The international monetary system, debt and country risk, the foreign exchange market, international financing strategies and techniques, the Euro-markets, and multinational banking.

Assessment Assignments: (minor: 10%; major: 30%): 40% · Examination (3 hours): 60%
