Objectives Students will be provided with a detailed understanding of the principal issues underlying business-related research. Students who have completed this subject will, at an advanced level, be able to design research proposals; to collect qualitative and quantitative data using a variety of research techniques; to analyse qualitative data; to apply statistical techniques to the analysis of quantitative data; to design non-probability and probability samples; and to conduct research ethically.

Assessment Research proposal: 25% · Literature review: 25% · Examination (3 hours): 50%
