Exemptions

On the recommendation of the head of academic unit concerned the faculty may grant an exemption without credit from a core subject for work previously undertaken at Monash University or another tertiary institution.
Students granted an exemption without credit do not receive credit points towards their enrolled degree or diploma, therefore, they are required to satisfactorily complete the normal number of credit points for the specified award.
