Objectives As for VAM4030. Fifth-year students will have examined texts of a more demanding nature than is required of fourth-year students.

Synopsis As for VAM4030.

Assessment fifth year (8 points) Seminar paper (2500 words): 40% -Essay (3500 words): 60%
Assessment fifth year (12 points) First seminar paper (2500 words): 25% -Second seminar paper (3000 words): 35% -Research essay (3500 words): 40% -At fifth-year level there will be a special research emphasis in which primary consultation of artefacts and relevant documentation will be necessary.
