Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject students should have gained experience in the performance of a selected repertoire from a wide range of periods at a professional standard, performed music from the solo and chamber repertoire while establishing artistic links between pieces; and undertaken the performance of the set work common to all students presenting for assessment on the same instrument. Students must participate in orchestral or choral ensembles as directed.
Synopsis As for MUS3980, but including a multimovement work performed on the student's chief instrument or voice and a solo program of thirty minutes and a chamber music program of fifteen minutes.
Assessment Written (annotated program booklet): 15% - Practical (1-hour recital): 85%
