Objectives To develop students' ability to investigate and model relationships between a criterion variable and a one or more predictor variables.
Synopsis The theme of the subject is about finding the best quantitative relationship between a response variable and several other predictor variables. Model selection, parameter estimation, residual analysis, prediction and multicolinearity are studied. Statistical computing packages, eg Minitab, are used extensively.
Assessment Three assignments: 30% - Examination (1.5 hours): 70%
