Objectives As for LIN2490 and in addition a deeper understanding of the theoretical issues involved in the study of language, reading and writing.

Assessment Written assignments (3000 words): 40% - Class paper (1500 words): 30% - Class test (1.5 hours): 30% - Third-year students will be required to do an advanced assignment.
