Objectives On completion of this subject, students should have developed an understanding of Japanese business organisations and the characteristics of Japanese companies overseas. In particular, students should be familiar with the administrative perspectives of Japanese companies and the current activities and issues of Japanese companies in Australia.

Synopsis This subject aims to provide students with advanced reading skills in Japanese as well as knowledge of the operation of Japanese companies in Australia. Reading materials will mainly be in Japanese. Representative areas such as finance, manufacturing and trade may be covered.

Assessment Written (3000 words): 40% -Short essays: 40% -Other assignments: 20%
