Objectives As for JAL4530 with the additional objective that students should gain an in-depth understanding of an area of research related to language acquisition or language teaching.

Synopsis As for JAL4530.

Assessment Two exercises (1500 words each): 30% -Research project (4000 words): 30% -Test (2 hours): 40% -Students at fifth-year level are expected to use more sophisticated library research skills and analysis and a higher level of written presentation skills.
