8 points -3 hours per week -First/second semester -Clayton -Corequisite: A four-point advanced language subject

Objectives Upon completion of this course students should have acquired a depth of knowledge in a particular facet of German studies, be it within literature, culture or linguistics.

Synopsis This subject consists of a guided reading of selected texts chosen to lead to or supplement a research project. In consultation with the staff member concerned a reading list is prepared, on the basis of which regular discussions are held.

Assessment Written (4000 words): 70% -Examination (2 hours): 30%
