Special reading course

Objectives On completion of this subject students should have acquired greater understanding of a specialised area in European studies, to enable them to engage critically with the material and to provide the framework for them to work independently in that field.

Synopsis This subject will provide the study in depth of a particular topic or topics in European culture, society, history, economics or law. Students will be supervised by a staff member with expertise in their chosen area of study.

Assessment Assessment will involve a total of 6000 words.
