Objectives As for CLS2820, with the additional objective of developing an understanding of the implications of ecocriticism for the methodology and theoretical premises of literary and cultural studies.

Synopsis As for CLS2820.

Assessment Seminar paper (1500 words): 25% - Essay (2500 words): 40% - Examination (2 hours): 30% - Participation: 5% - In the research essay students taking this subject at third-year level will be expected to reflect on the methodology of ecocriticism on a more theoretical level than will be expected of students taking the subject at second-year level.
