Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should appreciate the advanced capabilities of the Silicon Graphics/Alias facility as a means of experimenting with their creative ideas; generate realistic 3D models and interact with them in real time; focus on and develop professional skills in the areas of computer animation.
Synopsis Students are provided with additional skills to explore the system possibilities and the computer environment, including advanced modeling techniques, rendering for print and video, and communicating their creative designs to a professional standard via means of instructional exercises and individual projects.
