The Education Abroad Office of Monash International, based at the Clayton campus, provides services to students who wish to complete a semester or a year of their degree at an overseas institution. The opportunity of going on exchange is available to all Monash students (including international students), who have completed two or more semesters of a study in any faculty (except medicine). Further information on the study abroad and exchange programs can be obtained from the Education Abroad office by ringing 9905 1551.
Students should note that faculty approval is required. Study abroad/exchange application forms are available from the Arts faculty office. Completed forms should be lodged with the international relations coordinator, who is based at the Clayton campus.
Students undertaking language studies in the Faculty of Arts may also be eligible to participate in the Language Study Abroad Program. This program aims to provide extensive opportunities for students majoring in a language to undertake, in their third or fourth year of language study, a semester of full-time university level of study in a country where that language is the official language. Students interested in participating in this program should contact the relevant language department.
