The university housing service provides students and staff with assistance in arranging housing on and off campus, from share houses to full board, and with information on tenant/landlord rights and all related subjects. The service is located on the first floor of the Union building, telephone 9905 3195.

The amenities section at the Gippsland campus provides a housing service for up to 400 students living on campus. Accommodation charges for 1996 ranged from approximately $1392 per semester for room only, to $1872 per semester for a room and four evening meals.
In addition, the amenities section offers information and advice regarding off-campus accommodation to both students and staff.
Students of the Pharmacy College wanting accommodation in a residential college should contact International House, 341 Royal Parade, Parkville; Ridley College, 160 The Avenue, Parkville; and Whitley College, 271 Royal Parade, Parkville.
