Synopsis At least six units are to be taken, with `Experimental design and data handling', `Advanced instrumentation' and `Readings in applied physics' being compulsory. Students are required to present a report on an original applied/experimental project chosen in consultation with their supervisor.
Assessment Examinations (normally 6 x 2 hours): 50% * Applied/experimental project: 50%
