Objectives On completion of the subject, students are expected to be able to discuss various theoretical perspectives regarding child development; describe the clinical features of a range of childhood and adolescent disorders; discuss contemporary approaches to care and treatment of children and/or adolescents who have mental disorders; design and implement nursing as appropriate to the mental health needs of children.
