Advanced pathophysiology

Objectives Through a variety of in-class, clinically based and student driven activities, this subject should enable students to demonstrate an understanding of maladaptive physiological process; apply pathophysiological concepts using a systematic framework to organise, analyse and synthesis data within a variety of clinical settings; through an understanding of pathophysiological concepts, describe the aetiology, pathology and pathophysiology of health breakdown.
Synopsis The subject aims to increase students knowledge base of the underlying physiological and pathophysiological processes involved with body function.
Assessment Case study, examination.
