Topics include the study of mental disorder in other cultures; the practice of psychiatry in a multi-cultural setting; the basic principles of epidemiology and the association between mental disorder and social events and relationships. Candidates are asked to prepare presentations on key areas thus promoting self-directed learning of the theoretical and clinical aspects of this subject.
